- Google account information (if you sign in): Your Google account ID, email address, name, and profile picture. This is used only to identify you so you can manage your vCards.
- Download logs: When someone downloads your vCard via its unique URL, we record the date and time, the visitor's IP address, and their browser user agent string. This data is used to provide you with download statistics.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is processed exclusively to operate and provide the Service. Specifically:
- To store your vCard details and serve them as downloadable .vcf files
- To generate QR codes pointing to your unique URL
- To authenticate you and associate vCards with your account
- To provide download statistics for your vCards
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, advertising, or any purpose beyond rendering the Service.
3. What We Don't Do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising or targeted marketing
- We do not build profiles about you beyond what is needed to run the Service
- We do not send marketing emails
- We do not use tracking cookies or analytics platforms
4. Third-Party Services
If you sign in with Google, Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle the authentication process. We receive only the basic profile information listed above. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored in a database on our servers. We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, but no system is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists or for as long as your vCards remain in the system. Guest vCards (created without signing in) are stored indefinitely unless manually deleted.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all the data we hold about you via the Account page
- Rectify: Edit your vCard details at any time
- Delete: Delete individual vCards, or delete your entire account and all associated data permanently from the Account page
- Portability: Download your vCard data as .vcf files at any time
8. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to maintain your login state. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and cannot be opted out of. We do not use any other cookies.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
